Get Christmas Party Ready with our festive makeup tutorial using Sleek Makeup!
The first (and most important) makeup step is your base, and Sleek Makeup can help to get you that flawless look easily.
Start by using the Sleek Hydrating Primer – during the winter months, skin can be particularly dry so it’s always best to head towards products that provide more hydration. Once applied, let it set for between 3-5 minutes.
Next, take Sleek Lifeproof Foundation and buff into your skin using a round buffing brush. Add an extra layer if required, then take the Sleek Lifeproof Concealer and apply to the under eyes and on any blemishes. This is best blended with a slightly damp beauty sponge. Set your makeup in place with a very small amount of the Sleek Crème to Powder Foundation, focusing on the t-zone.
The next step is contour, blush and highlight – Sleek have the perfect palette for this, called Face Form. Start by blending the bronzer shade into the contours of your cheeks and around the edges of your face – this will help to create definition. Then, add a small amount of blusher to the apples of your cheeks and add highlight to the areas that the light hits first. These are generally the top of the cheek bones, tip of the nose, cupids bow and chin. For an extra Christmas glow, add a small amount of the Sleek Highlighting Elixir to the tops of the cheek bones.
Moving onto the eyes and eyebrows, firstly, take the Sleek Brow Kit in the shade suitable and fill in your brows if required.
You then want to take the Sleek iDivine Palette in Goodnight Sweetheart.
Top Tip – Take a tiny amount of the Face Form Matte Bronzer and blend this through your crease. It makes a brilliant transition shade!
You can create many different eyeshadow looks with this palette as it has a great mix of matte shades, shimmers, cool tones and warm tones.
Start with the shade Number 4 and apply this to your lid – you can do this with either your finger or with a small dense eyeshadow brush. Next, take shade Number 9 and blend this through your crease with a fluffy eye blending brush and apply a small amount to the outer part of your lid. Then take shade Number 2 and apply this to the ‘Outer V’ part of your eye (this refers to the area between your lash line and crease). For an extra step, you can mix Number 2 and Number 9 together and bring slighty under the eye on the outer section only. Lastly, for extra sparkle you can take Number 4 and apply this to the tear duct area right in the very corner with a small detail brush (be careful not to get this in your eye).
For the final step, apply your chosen lipstick. We personally love Sleek True Colour Lipstick in Vamp and Vixen, but there are plenty of shades to choose between which are perfect for this time of year.
